My Story

I've spent most of my life making a conscious choice to live my passions and joy, in spite of incredible odds.
I am a firm believer in helping my clients remember that they have one life, and to live it well.


When I was five years old, I was diagnosed with bone cancer. My cancer returned at thirteen, when my left leg was amputated. The aggressive treatments, although they saved my life, also caused lifelong challenges. I have had the fortunate opportunity to understand, in great depth, the power of the mind and body working together to achieve health and well being in all aspects of my life. I still have my days, like all of us, but the over arching compass that guides my life is my commitment to harmony and happiness.

I am so grateful to be alive, and to be able to serve people well with the transformative tools of yoga and movement.


My passion

I have presented and taught at major events throughout my yoga career. I have trained thousands of people in yoga and taught thousands of yoga classes, but my greatest joy is seeing the day to day transformation of my clients towards a more hopeful and enlightened future.


My credentials

I have been practicing and studying yoga for over thirty years. I am a certified 200 hour Kripalu registered yoga teacher, a certified 500 hour Iyengar based yoga therapist,SomaSoul movement therapist. with advanced certifications and trainings in many healing modalities.

I have a Masters in Education from Harvard. I love to teach. I speak fluent French and conversational Spanish. I lived and studied abroad in France, Scotland and Germany. I also worked at the United Nations Centre for Human Rights in Geneva. My sessions are an uplifting fusion of all my training, life adventures and expertise.
